Drew’s Background
Drew graduated college with degrees in Biology and Zoology in 1992. By 1994, he was in the construction industry and ran his own renovation company. Then, in 2006, he decided to enroll in a home inspection course. Drew believes that home inspecting is a natural progression from working in construction. He loves looking at various different houses and seeing how all the components work. Additionally, he likes the independence of the job.
Special Tools
Any good home inspector knows that part of the job involves using special industry tools. Drew made an investment in these tools many years ago, and he continues to use them daily.
Thermal Imaging
This tool enables Drew to look for leaks, insulation issues, and much more. He can also see otherwise invisible hot spots.
Moisture Meter
Finding any existing moisture inside your home is very important. With a moisture meter, Drew can root out accumulations of moisture, along with any related accumulations of mold.
Gas Leak Detector
With a gas leak detector, Drew is able to determine if your hot water heater is slowly leaking gas. That way, you can get it taken care of before it becomes a major problem.
